The Blackhawk School Board majority and acting superintendent are subverting policy and procedures, thereby acting illegally to Censor/Ban books in the district.
The acting superintendent has violated district policy and The First Amendment by limiting access to certain books.
"Students must always be free to inquire and the school library is the locus of such freedom."
Books cannot be removed "simply because they dislike the ideas contained" (Pico 1982).
